1) Initial consultation

• Front face view in the rest position, full face with a wide open smile, and full face with retracted view maxillary and mandibular arches.

4) Digital Impressions

Intra-oral scanners that function as a traditional dental impression, which skip many hazards and capture 3D imaging of teeth and the intraoral cavity.

5) Digital Smile Design Analysis 

This step is the core of using the DSD software, which involves analyzing the collected digital data using specialized DSD software 

• Facial analysis

7) Patient approval and Feedback 

The patient is using the mockup “test drive” actively with providing feedback on it. In this step, adjustments are made until the patient feels pleased and satisfied with his new smile.

8) Treatment Planning

It’s the step where dental procedures take place. The DSD tool is supported by multidisciplinary dental processes like orthodontics, periodontics, full mouth rehabilitation, and implantology.

The DSD tool can create 3D guided templates that help dentists take precise actions like gum grafting surgeries and dental implant placement.
